Looking pretty damn cool, but I'm not sure what game-play will be like. Do we know if it's going to be just like The Witcher 2, or perhaps turn-based? If it's the former, I'll be very excited indeed.

Good to hear. The Witcher 2 was a really nicely polished game, but I felt like it couldn't decide what it wanted to be. Did anyone play it through to completion?

Yeah I did. I don;t really like RPG's but gave the Witcher a go and I was completely hooked. Amazing game and proper adult story. I bought the Witcher 1 in a steam sale and am deeply immersed in it at the moment. Brilliant games and great value for money. The Witcher 3 will be open world like Skyrim and I can't wait for the story to continue.

I might give it another go. I didn't get particularly far into the Witcher 2, I think I'd just beaten the first actual boss - the Kayran or something? I picked up the Enhanced Edition for peanuts so once I get through the hoooorribly ported LA Noire I'll get back on it. I have a lot of respect for the guys at CD Projekt Red, they seem like good people

Personally much preferred the first Witcher over the Witcher 2. I don't really want a completely open world like Skyrim but The Witcher 2 felt to linear and compartmentalised, in fact it suffered from a similar issue as Gothic 4 where you felt as if you were being funnelled along.

Im not exactly sure what it was about the first Witcher but the world felt so much more open (Even though it had more loading screens)and the characters/story was just so much more interesting.

Still this new title looks amazing and its great to see such a well done teaser. If they market it right I think they could see incredible success with this title, turn-based or not.

Edit: While watching the CD Projekt presentation, switch the subtitles to English from Polish and enjoy.
