it does! you have to right click the image, then there is a "dropbox" part of the right click menu, go there, and choose "share link" - that opens dropbox and then choose, then click share at the top and press the button "get link"

It usually works but I'm soon it entirely on my phone and I don't think it's Givin me the correct public url. The ones it's giving me are https, which might be an issue.

I'll fix it once I'm home, phone isn't ideal for manipulating a big list of tagged urls.

I think I have a few alps/topre and some other switch caps which I could do with a hand identifying.

Edit: great, so now I need a new image host too

They can't struggle financially they just gave me another free upgrade. I uploaded those photos from my phone and my space went from 4.59 to 6.4GB.

I was halfway to renting a VPS to run as a host when I remembered I still have a spare one somewhere, I just keep misplacing the details. 1st world problems?

They are stored on all your machines and on the Dropbox servers (part of Amazon's cluster iirc).

The financial thing was just a flippant remark with no real substance, but I do think that their profit margins are razor thin so it wouldn't surprise me if they disabled hotlinking images for fear of exceeding bandwidth.

I reckon Shirty's nailed it there - with cloud storage coming of age they're making slim margins, hotlink disabling is a fantastic way to cut bandwidth use without really affecting their core business.

I was having trouble getting used to it but I raised the keyboard's stands and it's much more natural now.

I never liked it and it's nothing special (regular membrane keyboard) but I've been using dozens of them everywhere I worked/studied in the past 7-8 years so I actually better on that piece of crap than my filco

It took me a couple of weeks to get used to my QPAD board - I dislike using anything else, but I can't justify a mech board for work.

Well, I could, quite easily. I just can't afford to.

I did pull all the caps off my Dell keyboard (one of the best membrane boards ever made IMO) and gave them all a clean - just to make me feel better.

I shouldn't really have bought one for work as well as home, but once I'd had a taste I developed an uncontrollable hatred towards my crappy membrane work board.
