Yeah they might be slightly quicker but 7bits are 65c (euro cents so about 60p) which for a board's worth would be 87(?) × 20p = £17.20 cheaper (which is not a bad saving!) - also, 7bit is pretty quick at getting stuff over here (it's only coming from Germany...)

Edit: I will also (probably) be ordering some switches from 7bit soon (maybe today if he gets back to me with a question I asked him) if you want to share postage (which admittedly is only €4)

He updated the list this morning and it looks like he doesn't but he does have pcb mount - you can just switch the tops with your existing switches after desoldering...

I made one of my Poker into light whites recently. Swapped the white stems into my blue Poker leaving the blue springs. It's really nice.
Anyone need some greens? I have 46 left over from the opposite of that mod blue stem and white spring so it is exactly a green except in stem color.

I think I am going to stick WoR base kit with those RA2.0 red mods to make a full red set. But for the moment I am quite enjoying the stock PBT KBT caps.

I thought greens had the springs from blacks in (or are they the same for blacks and whites?)

Nope, black has 60g spring and green, white and greys have 80g.

Fair enough - I was looking earlier and the slider for a green looks ever so slightly different from a blue. Are they in fact the same? (it looked kind of chunkier if that makes sense)

Blue and green are identical except in color obviously. White has a different stem though. It has a different click mechanism and the travel is shorter which is why it has a softer click.

Anyone have an interesting big-ass enter keycap?

Enter for SS is hard to find. Most bigass use ISO orientation mount. What I usually suggest is to just use regular ANSI enter and make a dummy 1.5 key above to fill in the empty space.

Got an ABS Poker set that's never been used. Had it about 5 days. You can have that for postage if you don't get your hands on a TKL set.

No probs, I'll be delighted to pay but I was hoping for something on the cheap side rather than an elite set like the Ninjas, but anyhow how much would you like for it/condition/usage etc?

My mini review as promised:

After three hours of typing, I'm loving this Ducky Zero DK2108 with blues! Build quality is on a par with the Shine II, although the quality of the plastic is possibly a small step down, but the finish is flawless. The double-shot caps for the five green LED keys are very nice, and overall this is a very pleasing board, especially for the price.

My advice to anyone looking for a full-size board with a choice of switches for under £70 would be to take a serious look at this - I believe it is the new standard. By all accounts it solves the issues with the older entry-level Ducky boards from a few years back, although I have no direct experience with those.

My only gripes are that the super/windows key is an angry duck face (not fitting with the understated look of the board imho) and the right hand super key has been replaced with a context menu (i.e. right click) key. Other than that, I can live with the captive cable and the Zero logo on the side of the space bar.

Pros and cons

+ Good quality ABS laser engraved keycaps
+ Double-shot LED caps (well dual-layered, but same result)
+ No extraneous keys/graphics
+ Available in standard ISO/ANSI layouts (with 4 additional keys for volume/calculator)
+ Solid weighty construction akin to £120+ boards (1.21kg)
+ NKRO option over USB
+ Windows key lock
+ Dual layer PCB (assume that's cool?)
+ Choice of all four mainstream switches, with suggestions that others may be made available
+ Readily available in the UK
+ £70 is a great price for a quality board

- Only one super/Windows key, and it's an angry duck
- Captive cable protruding from the centre back
- No media controls other than volume
- Cherry stabilisers (if that worries you)
- Normal blue switch for space instead of green
- Only available in black
- Not yet available in TKL, but will surely be incredible value if/when it is
- Made in China not Taiwan (not that you can tell)

Verdict: A great keyboard for home or work. This one I bought specifically for work as it's a basic model with a numpad which I use here all the time. I like it a lot.

Almost all of the negative points above are heartily outweighed by the price tag and nature of the board. It is sublime to type on.
