hi dream1, thanks glad you like it and yes it does look a bit like a shell doenst it. when its finished i hope it will look like the japanese ceremonial samurai fan its supposed t look like.

I've been watching this intently since its inception.

I think it looks like a shell because the edges and surfaces have been rubbed round. I think if edges were left sharp and surfaces flat it would look a lot more like a japanese ceremonial fan.

hey ferret, thanks for the pictures, even though the fan should just hint the essence of a real one, thanks for the pics. of course as mentioned, its not finished yet by god i certainly want it look more fannish than shellish so keep watching, this weekend i will be working on it again.

another update of the SAMURAI SACRILEGIUM is on its way tonight
hi guys, here is an other older project of mine in a german magazine video
yes i know the blue led display and fans ctrls are shitty, well thats probably why it only made
second place at the www.dcmm.de 2011 and not the first. am still more than proud and
happy about that though. is stained with printer ink and all about neurotoxic animals and their poisonous venom.

hi everyone, here are tghe results of todays modding session, have started, not finished thoug, the bokken. traditional bokken are made of wood and used for practice, they have basically the same sword shape. i have modified mine a bit to hold a USB stick in the grip, its not finished yet, when it is you wont see that the stick isnt reall part of it. i unsoldered an old usb port from an old mainboard to act as the grasper when sticng the stick in the sword grip, hot glued in and works great. the DEATH OR DISHONOR WARCRY is also engraved into the bokken.
apart from the i have filed a bit on the fan so that its more fannish than shellishg, also not finished yet.
i have started some of the leather lace making too from a windows leather. stripped and soaked in wood stain. looks like real leather, is tough and rough and only costs a 3rd of the price.

hi hcp, yep me too beleive me, cant wait to get this finished, am a bit flooded with ideas though which all want to make the finals here so, here is some more.

i laid the USB bokken, yes the bokken with a usb stick in it, or as i like to call it U.S.B for Universal Samurai Bokken , in water overnight and today i made a bending prop in which it is now screwed into. tomorrow i will see if i have the required bend and then i have made my first bokken with 4gbyte usb stick. not bad.
here are the pics, tomorrow we will view the results together.

hi guys, and here is another little update, i cut off the small katanas ends to make them look more like hathoris, i bent the bokken as you cold see, tomorrow it will be taken out of the press, have also finished off some details of the bokken hand guard with rings etc.. anyway let the pics speak for themselves.

of course it COULD be, but why not in my language too. the whole build is a sacrilegium of hardware against the way of the samurai. dont get me wrong, i love the samurai honor codec. i also dont have a japanese windows for it. of course could have written in japanese as well as english. a bokken also doesnt usually have a usb stick in it either does it. but tell you what though, on the other side it will have my name in japanese, want everyone to know and be able to read the DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR though. all these eelements are just hints towards a style, i wont use the bokken in a sword fight, its just for completion and to enhance the whole set when finished

Besides I do not even like that stuff.
