I've been using it for a while now, and I think it's great

Less destructive than iTunes, allows iPod>PC transfers, and plays music stored on the iPod.

It's not illegal AFAIK, just irritating for Apple, since you would potentially use someone else's software to buy music online. I've been using Anapod Explorer since day one and love it, but may have to check this out. There are a couple others out too.

Just tried it out... tbh never used the winamp library at all, always stuck with playlists I've made myself. Playing with it now, seems just as simple as Anapod for the most part. I'm sure I'm missing the obvious in not seeing the "to ipod" thing for local files...

K, you can only read stuff from the ipod if you're using Winamp 2.x (send to doesn't exist), works fine in 5.x.
