Time for a new Project It´s based on a CM Mastercase and it will be built for our little Sister. She was in need of a new System and her last mod [roku] is also several years old so we decided that the time has come for something new. And after a few discussions with her, we finally found a theme for this build; which is Alice in Wonderland / Alice Madness. So, this time it starts with a grin..... to be continued....
I hope that you are going to paint that thing Pink color is quite aggressive to the eyes. I love the 3D printed parts though.
Lol Ty m8s!!!! i can totally understand that, that model of the cheshire cat really rocks! (you can find it on thingiverse) but its also just an add on for the case..... ty!!! and sure it will be painted....but i have to disappoint you...because it will be painted in pink and purple ty!!! and yes this time we use special UV-Paint so that the Colors react on UV-Light ... for that special effect on that special cat.... ah Dave my sexy Bear is stepping in with his raw masculinity..... it´s always some kind of soap dropping moment..... that would be a really nice feature...but can´t find a resin which can do a decent nagging....
Soooo, it´s time for the first Update: As next we printed a cover for the I/O Ports of the Mainboard that we´re going to use in this build..... We also printed and painted a few smaller parts which we want to integrate in the mod..... and for sure, we finished the cheshire cat....
sorry i should have written done for the moment As next we disassembled the Graphic Card Cooler so that we could paint the Fan cover and Fan blades....and we also overworked the radiator for the WC loop..... As next we´re going to switch over to the case itself and start the cutting process for the window in the sidepanel....
As announced, we continued our work with the sidepanel. So we first took the sidepanel of and made a quick pencil drawing on it....just to discuss the exact position & shape of the window.... .....after that we could print out a piece of fence which we will mount on the sidepanel to give the complete mod a bit more structure.... And then we started the cutting process on the sidepanel.... And we overworked the mounting bracket for the CPU Cooler so that it matches the overall "wood" theme of the mod.....
Thank you!! Time for the next Update: After finishing the cutting process of the window....we directly started to add some structure to some parts of the sidepanel...so that we could start the painting process afterwards.... Beside that we already mounted the I/O Shield and the CPU Block for the first time....just to see how it will look like.... We also overworked the paint on the radiator a little bit, so that the wood grain gets darker then before and we also prepared the Fans for the Radiator & Case for a fresh coat of paint....
thank you!! As next we prepared the next pieces for the Front and the 2nd sidepanel..... beside that we continued the work on the outside a little bit and we also started to add some paint to the inside of the case....so it will blend in with the paint on the sidepanel....
Time for the next Update: In the last days we continued our work on this mod first we put some paint on the Mad Hatter for the 2nd sidepanel.... Beside that we also start the airbrushing process on the 2nd sidepanel...so that we could add our printed mad hatter to the panel afterwards.... we also added some more details to the Frontpanel And we already started to mount the hardware for a first test....
thank you! and you don´t have to wait that long....only until tomorrow.... As next we added some last details to the Front Panel, after that we also mounted the prepared door knob...so that the front panel is nearly finished.... Then we build a custom reservoir which we could mount under the Top of the Case.... After finishing the reservoir...we directly mounted it inside the case so that we could start bending the rigid tubing and add some water.... And last but not least we mounted the mad hatter & the piece of fence on our sidepanels....
