In town earlier on, I decided to use one of the public toilets. (And no, I'm neither mad / drunk / looking for some hot all night action - I was just desparate). However... I noticed something truly stupendous while I was in there. Someone had taken a thick red marker pen in, and written "THE CAKE IS A LIE!" with a nicely drawn, heavily stylised picture of a cake underneath. I had no idea the average Portal player is the kind of person who would indulge in some public nuisance and mild vandalism! The bit that made it even better was the fact that underneath, someone had just written in big black letters "Wot?" which made me laugh so much I nearly wee'd again. What's the best graffiti you have ever seen?
Hahaha that's amazing. Probably the one that made me laugh most is at this bar in the city centre. The toilet walls had some repeating bird pattern on it, like swallows. Someone had this really elaborate tag scrawled on it and it obscured one of the birds wings. Someone had wrote next to it something like 'Now really, what is this? I can't even read it. I'm obviously not completely against the idea of graffiti, but at the expense of wildlife and some poor bird's flight pattern it's just not on is it?'... lolz.
At Uni, it became a regular occurence to see more "Fat Barry" graffiti. God knows who Fat Barry was, but he was everywhere - "Fat Barry was here", "Fat Barry watches your mum poo", "Fat Barry likes soup" etc. One day, we witnessed the best one ever. Someone had drawn a big chalk outline of a very obviously obese person on the floor, and written next to it "Fat Barry is DEAD! Enough of this now!"
I had a hard time aiming when i read "remember! if you shake it more then twice - you're playing with it" at the local pub's toilet
I found these outside Kelvingrove subway in Glasgow, Whilst not strictly geeky the art was enough to make me go wow (yes i know Bilko was stencilled - still looks good tho) , and the sultan type dude reminds me of Prince of Persia a few feet away I also found out who was responsible
ive seen both a graffiti of tux and the free bsd dameon(fully coloured in spray paint at a little taller then me) and a psudeo code loop something like on the inside of a toilet door of course Code: int PersonsWastedTime = 0; main() { for (int i =0; i > (cant remember what went hear but it was good); i ++) { PersonsWastedTime ++; printf = "\nYou are the " + PersonsWastedTime + "to have wasted your time reading this\nDont forget to wipe you bum and wash your hands" } }
I once found Maxwell's equations (both integral and differential forms, for the fussy ones), and the derivation to get EM waves, closely followed by special relativity, simply with the word "pwn" after it. Love the OP's find, I'd love to find a cake somewhere.
The funniest thing I've seen is an area around a place I used to live in Manchester. Someone had basically gone around adding '?' to the end of street names on signs. So all the signs would just say "Derby Road?" Makes me smile
That's simply legendary. I'm sure I read somewhere that there was a famous piece of graffiti in one of the london tube stations: where someone had quoted Fermat's last theorem, accompanied by a (simply amazing) notation of: "I have a truly marvellous proof of this proposition which can't be written before the rozzers get me..."
Thats brilliant ^^ Just up the road from me (in bristol) someones written on the side of a garage "Big up Isambard kindom brunel", I have a pic somewhere. Moriquendi
One in the toilets of the Chemistry dept. at uni: Schrodinger Woz Here. Then underneath in another pen. We're not sure about his cat though
Absolutely. Bloody. Brilliant. I was half expecting something like "Wait... no he wasn't..." - but that's even better! Which university was that, anyway?
