hi everybody , first i ask you to sorry myself because my english is very bad and i hope you understand me but pics are better than words so my project is a selfmade case in lexan/wood ; all the internal structure will be in lexan and the exterior in wood and lexan (thanks to eddie the dane 's guide that gave me inspiration ) the last part of the case will be a black shiny painting of all the wood parts the cut for blowhole
mastic again and after sands paper well i return to english lessons before update hope you enjoy my work
that's lookin really good. I tip my hat off to ya on cutting holes after stacking the layers... that's a gutsy commitment but it looks like everything is paying off. I'd like to know more about the stuff you are putting on the wood prior to sanding. My understanding is that mastic is a masonry adhesive but I could be wrong what you are doing with it. That's going to look awesome lit up. eddie looks into crystal ball.... I see a lot more sanding in your future....
looks very nice, hope the lexan will give enough light. Is it heavy? How will you paint it without "destroy" the lexan?
thanks for your comments eddie dane> first your i love your case for the mastic you re wright, it is adhesive and when it is sanded i give a good surface to paint eagle spirit> its about 7 kg (i don't know the conversion in pound) and for the light i made a test and it goes well it will comme some others lightning in it i ll paint the case by hidden the lexan with professionnal adhesive paper
wow.... if this one will be better than vespadeco or something, I will worship you for the rest of my life!!! I know it will be better...
ok, it wasn't so heavy as I thought. And the lights look very good. Maybe LEDs? They have much cleaner light, but it's expensive.
RAMeLair > i just look up this project and it seems to be good too eagle spirit> i m going to use leds fans and some ccfl hidden into double panel in the case just to light front and top
If you have a little trouble with your English then someone will point relix at this thread - His English is pretty good He'll help you translate and stuff. Nice case, man *n
thanks , current language is not so hard for me , thats the technical terms/words that made problems with me...
This case is very good. I love the wood combined with the plexi, it looks great like that. I cant wait to see it painted. Good job
That looks great! I was actually planning to do something very similar, all the way down to the black paint and blue plexi, after I finish my current case.
