Hello,

I've been using one of these since September and I can't stand to use anything else. I have never used one of the Everglides but either way I love my Ratpadz. The mouse I use is the Logitech Dual Optical..very smooth and crisp!

I've got the 3M Precise Mousing Surface which I use with my Logitech Optical, how does the 3M pad compare with the RatPadz?

Hi,

Their pretty much the samething. The Everglide Giganta (spelling?) is very close to the same surface area as the Ratpadz. However, if you have an optical mouse make sure you get the black one. People have had problems with tracking on the different colored Everglides.

I heard from some people that the surface of the ratpadz lasts much longer than the everglide!

Eh Ritch, I can't believe you could bend the ratpad so that it didn't rock from side to side.
I just removed the foot on the middle of the pad; that works fine for me now! (I didn't manage to bend it back properly)

p.s.: RitchtheTitch and Titch? two different persons? Just noticed that. Always thought you are one and the same guy

i've used Everglides at my dads work, and after using this I think that Ratpads are a little better. The surface is a bit more slippy, and i like the shape better - everglides require you to have your wrist in the center - ratpads dont.

ratpadz.com lists the following sites for USA purchases:
Outside Loop, 2CoolTek, PCMods, Arena Computers and Plycon

Any of them unreliable, or preferred?

Edit: Just noticed the all have the curve near the bottom... I turn mine by 90 degrees. Any alternatives w/o the curve or similar designs?

you could go for the everglide in the plain jane layout.
9 1/4 high by 8 1/2 wide....and it has no cutout...i'm not sure about the ratpad...

that particular pad should be here:
