A few of my friends play and are always trying to get me into it. As a bit of fun a group of us went to a driving range in New Malden the other day and I *really* enjoyed it. I never imagined I would be a golfist but here we are :|. What do?
Haven't played in a long time, but used to play every now and again, I enjoy it when I do play, makes for a nice relaxed day outside
I read this thread as 'does anyone drive a Golf'. It's not about that, is it... I used to play a bit, but I don't have the time (and would rather be out on my bike!)
I'm pretty good at crazy golf. Anything more than that and I tend toward taking huge lumps of turf out of the green and then getting thrown out.
I used to play for a local junior team, I was ok. Haven't played a proper game in a couple of years. 'Spanking a bucket' up the range is always a good reliever of stress! Last time I played it was agains my little bro, I hadn't touched a club in 18 months and I wiped the floor with him! Good times...
I'm looking at buying a set of golf bats. It's like that first time you thought trying to build your own PC seemed like a good idea and then WTF ARE JUMPERS!?
Played crazy golf on a few occasion and lost. The thought of trying to hit a small ball around a nicely cut field has no appeal Not knocking any golfers but i don't see me doing this for fun
I love golf, just never really have the time. The misses wants me to teach her though, so could be in for some golfing hilarities soon. And remember folks, it's all in the hips. And mine are of the child bearing variety.
Haven't played in a few months but just coming into aussie spring here so about time to dust the clubs off again
Haven't played for years (since I was 13 or so). My parents got into it, and my mum was Lady Captain of the local course so I had to play too. Had a good drive, a tidy chip and god awful putting Stopped because a Saturday or Sunday morning golf was harder than staying in bed with my hangover
Used to play, still have the sticks. Had a fair few lessons from a pro and got pretty good. Stopped because of work commitments ( school during the week, work on weekends ). Will see about starting again next year, but a new set of sticks will set me back a bit.
