My pc has always run hot, and overheated sometimes. But since ive been playin CS for say longer than 2 hours the pc warning alarm goes off, and pc restarts itself. So i put my tower on the top of the desk, with a pedestal fan next to it, and realised that, all the air wasnt going straight in the case. This is where it gets ghetto... I got that plyboard stuff, thats in the back of wardrobes to kind of guide the air into the case, now i got pissed off on CS for getting killed and the board slipped and next thing bang, a piece of the fan flies out, the fan has ripped through the metal which holds it down, basically a code brown situation. Needless to say now im £10 down but have a huge heatsink and fan on there now. p.s I always used to read this forum and think, my god how stupid are you? Now i think i take that crown.
LOL it sucked, i was absolutly sweating doing it, because a screw rounded off and so i rithed the thing off. p.s pics later if you wanna see.
Clear out that nest of cables, get some rounded ones/sleeving kit and you should find it'll help a shitload...
LOL i'll show you a pic of how my HDD's are cooled in about 15 mins. Again slightly ghetto. ok quick pic cos im hungry.
humm ok...... um those fans would help as much as getting an std or 2. So all i can say is tidy and 2 x 120mm fans (80mm if you not got the room) be quieter and cooler for under £10 and then cs wont crash
Tidy those cables up, buy a decent cooler, get some proper thermal paste, and bobs your nans great uncle, who once borrowed your uncle stevens best black and decker. And stop acting 12 and saying "pwned" "owned".
Try ripping your thumb open with a 9cm 7000rpm panaflow 0.55amp...! A blade snapped off and flew across the room after spraying blood across the ceiling.
thought i'd had issues with overheating computers hope those fans are helping i don't think they are with all the wires blocking the airflow
