Hi Guys, just testing the water - and probably asking for the impossible.. Basically I have ISO op's stored on a external harddrive, does anyone know of a freebie program that I can install/format onto the usb drive.. which then acts as a bootup iso selector.. letting me install the op from the compacted iso rather than to burn them to a cd? Its a longshot I know.. and I have tried searching.
YUMI I use it on my emergency drive to boot from many different ISOs/tools http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/
This looks good.. thankyou - how about the other way? soo.. if you've got the op working but want to install something like office for an iso?
I use a Zalman ZM-VE200, it has iso's stored in an _iso folder. basically, you select the iso you want to boot/mount and bobs your uncle, works really well. you do need your own 2.5" hd though
you can get loads of apps to mount iso's when you are in the os. Daemon tools lite, poweriso - these are two that I use quite often.
