Veroboard pre/post care
Hey all new to diy electronics and soldering. Making some fan and led light splitter boards out of "veroboard" and wondering do I have to do anything to the board before and or after soldering headers onto the board. The boards are very basic power distrubution splitters nothing fancy. Thanks in advance cheers.
![]() EDIT Also wondering how much power can veroboard handle is 12v 5 amp do able?

Not sure what veroboard is rated for but if you want to use it anyway just run a line of solder over the copper traces. You can also run some large gauge copper wire down the tracks and solder that on.
Before soldering give the tracks a quick run down with something abrasive to clear any grease or corrosion. Afterwards maye just a quick clean to remove flux residue.
