...still requires 2/3 vote of MPs... but doubt that's not in the bag. Seems to me to be a mechanism to bury the Labour party, and pull the rug from the under the Lib Dems to stop them from having the time to mount a viable anti-brexit campaign.
Knowing how polling and politics have been playing out in recent years it wouldn't surprise me if her gamble goes pear shaped, Cameron called a referendum in an attempt to shoot the UKIP fox and their own Eurosceptic backbenchers, that didn't turn out how he expected or hoped. It would be funny if after getting the early election she wants they didn't get re-elected, or worse loses her majority and/or has to enter a coalition.
Labour have already stated they are pro-brexit like the Cons(ervatives), albeit with "differences"; whilst Lib Dems are anti-brexit. The whole question of this election will be brexit or not. So the choice appears to be Cons/Lab vs. Lib-Dem....
To be honest, I'd rather not vote and just leave them all to it but unfortunately that usually plays into the hands of the lunatics so I feel that I have to.
Our office are all hoping that May loses her seat, we're not too bothered about which party wins overall if that happens.
At first glance? Nowhere. Their only agenda has become obsolete since Article 50 has been triggered. Plus they have had massive chaos at the top since Nigel jumped ship. I suspect they will still get a few votes from former Labour voters who are so pissed off at Labour that they are willing to vote for just about anything else.
Six feet under, if we are lucky. This is about the Tories seeking a new "mandate" to do as they like, with as little reference to the House as possible. Not unlike Erdogan in Turkey.
I, sadly, feel like voting Green is going to be my choice. Conservatives are marauding assclowns at best. Labour are just.. Why. Lib-Dem have no spine, and will fold at the first opportunity I've no doubt. MRL, well, I don't know what their policies are.

I saw some news article pop up on my Facebook feed, it looked like "fake news" at first glance as I've never heard of the news outlet before. Was shocked and surprised if I'm honest. Wouldn't like to put money on the outcome either!!
Tough one. Labour are in the wilderness (still). The Libdems are forever tainted after their coalition betrayal. The Tories have shown their true colours, in light of zero credible opposition, and it isn't a pretty sight. ...and voting for anything else is just a vote for the incumbents.
Since SNP have been rattling cages about a 2nd referendum, I can see their share sliding now too as I think an even larger percentage will be dead against one. Can't wait to see Wee Jimmy Krankie's face. Cannot bear the woman, nor her agenda. Labour are also still in chaos and this will only further bury them. I think May's either been very brave or very clever...
