I've seen in a few builds that you can get rads where they're not painted black (well, the fins anyway..) and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about them?
    - Who makes them?
    - Where can you get them?
    - Costs?
    - Reliability?

If you could help, then that'd be great!

Have a look at Aquacomputer Airplex although they're a lot of money for average performing rads.

    XSPC AX Series

I think Coolgate used to make some as well but I can't find any at the moment

Yep it's probably the airplex ones from aquacomputer that you've seen. Those coolgate one's were sexy beasts shame you can't get them anymore.

MagiCool also used to make some, but they had horrible, cheap nasty plexi chambers and are best avoided.

You'll have to be ready to get the Brasso out every few weeks to keep that looking shiny.

OCUK dont have the AX silvers in a 240mm size.. And looking at the specs, it's going to leave no clearance (or worse, overlapping the mobo) with the layout i'm thinking of. :duh: So now i'm going to have to forget the unfinished copper rads, it seems and maybe use a slim 240mm with Orange LED fans instead.. :thumb:

Speaking of which, how good are the XSPC EX Rads?

They seem to be good quality and they're REALLY cheap on OCUK atm!

ah yeah sorry I meant to say that it was the 360mm that was really cheap at the minute.

and regarding the EX, never tried one myself but I've only heard good things about it. and for the price, you can't really go wrong
