Over the last few months it has become more and more apparent that we are receiving a large amount of spam email. They all contain .zip files and claim to be from barclays/royal mail or fax services enticing you to open the email attachment. Some are quite convincing to general users.

Does anyone have any ideas of how to combat this at all? Every email we have comes from a different email address and is really starting to annoy me. I am reluctant to increase the spam level filtering as we are already filtering out false-positives.

    Many thanks!

what spam filtering do you have, we resell GFI at work and don't have any problems with this.

Also what router do you have as I know watchguards can look inside .zip attachments (and .zip within them) to remove viruses

Message Labs. I'm biased because I sell it! so no point banging on about how good it is.
