    Just finished healing.

Seriously considering Voltron's shield on the other arm.

I still don't understand what drives people to get tattoos. It seems like a horrible expericance to me.

That's cuz you've got a clean cut look that never goes out of style. :p

Personally I don't like the design, but as geek tattoos go, I think you get away with it on the basis that most non-fans won't see it as a videogame tattoo. At least you're not Zune guy :D

Well, for me it's covering surgery/car accident scars. I'm stared at enough, at least this gives people a legitimate reason to look, and helps me feel less self-conscious. With one wasted and shorter arm, I'm not very comfortable with my self-image, so I'm working to change that. Yes, I understand it's not my fault, but still, as the normal view of beauty is based on body symmetry, I feel ugly. So I'm chooing to both express myself and assuage my feelings of ugliness and inadequacy.

    Your mileage may vary.

OMGWTFFTW! Thats a brilliant idea for a tattoo - though perhaps a bit bigger than I would get it. If you ever wind up in a prison, you are bound to get a lot of respect :p

As a fellow tattooed person, all I can say is "nice" :D

Luckily someone beat me to "where's it from", though! Not a gamer myself, you see - I'm one of those who only play Solitaire whilst waiting for the porn to download ;)

Why not? Aren't you the one with the huge head of hair? Why not get a different haircut? Why not get this or that? Tattoos, when they mean something to you personally (I have a personal dislike of tribalish "slag tats" etc), can be very beautiful.

They also can be very stupid - Google "stupid tattoos" for a few examples. Mr Cool Ice will definitely never be my hero. This one, however, does not fall into the category of stupid geek tats; au contraire, it's an exemplary nice geekish tattoo :D

Hell, even the doctors don't give me to 80. Besides, I don't do stuff I won't be proud of in time to come. No names, etc. Unless it's yours or your child's, don't do it. Course, I normally see your own name as either vanity or redneck, depending on the placement and such. The Arabic would be an exception, though...
