Hi StreetSam. I hope you bought your HD7990's when they were cheap and available. They are now out of stock everywhere and selling for silly money on Ebay. £700 each! Ridiculous! The price has gone so high that I've decided to sell all mime and then re purchase with Nvidia cards in the new year. Either some 780's or some 780TI's. Somewhat depends on the PPD that people are getting with the cards. Sounds like a mega machine that you were planning. Cheers. Pete
Probably have miners buying them, anything AMD is getting a serous premium right now because of the shortages in cards and increases in mining profitability.
Yup, you're right. I've just sold my last two HD7990's to a miner for £650 cash each when I only paid £299 + VAT for them. Nice I'll put the profits from the sale of the cards back into some Nvidia GPU's in the New Years Sales. Just down to a pair of MSi GTX770's now, which seem to do about 90K PPD each. Is that about right?
