Have problems using 5.1 speakers with my player 5.1 (software takes an age to load on startup). New drivers are due any second mind... r.
Yep just install the drivers and not creatives live suit just liek the via chip set problems. That how i got mine to work

My platinum 5.1 works fine with these drivers: http://www.soundblaster.com/support/winxp/ But there is one problem with it, I can not get the center speaker to work whatever I do. If anyone has had the same problem and has found a solution, I would love to know how you sorted it . thx
