Windows help needed with soft menu3 bios set up

    Hey guys I`m a first time pc builder. Got kg7-raid mobo with athlon xp 1600 processor Can you pls help me with my bios
    CPU operation speed is it 1400/100 or 1400/133?
    Multiplier factor?
    CPU FSB clock mhz?
    FSB rate?
    thanks for your help

    Unless you plan to overclock, then you can just leave it at that.

    In a kind of very simplistic way:

    1400/100 will run the CPU at 14x100, meaning the FSB is running at 100MHz. However, because the XP is multiplier locked at 10.5, you're going going to be getting 1050Mhz out of a 1400Mhz chip.

    1400/133 will run the CPU at 10.5x133, running the FSB at 133Mhz and the chip at 1400Mhz.

    If that makes sense, other people may well correct me. I'm better at cutting holes in stuff :D
