Took a video or rather several short clips of my cat accompanying me to the paper shop this morning. But cats being cats and not sticking to the pavement and going under cars I need to edit the clips then hopefully splice them into one reasonable clip. So looking for a free simple program. Simplicity is the key word here and I mean simple for a noobie such as me.
The first thing that springs to mind is Windows Movie Maker. I think it should do all that you want. Edit: Ninjad. Bah
Cheers guys will try that though I suspect it is unnecessary given the quality of the video clips. I really do not think DLSR and video should be in the same camera. Will need to get my hands on a cheapish stand alone video camera.
I recommend Pinnacle or Windows movie maker for Windows processor. They are simple and easy. And recently i used Video Pad v4, since i wanted a light program. The good thing about Video Pad 4 is the automation of sound waves and adding that audio effects with modulations.
At the moment I do not have a suitable quality of video to edit but might try something with the rubbish I have. If I get it wrong, (likely) then no harm done. Thanks for the suggestions.
