We have recently acquired a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse to use with our custom built Vista PC. Today, the mouse started wandering and becoming less and less responsive. Assuming the reciever was the problem I unplugged it, but plugging it back into the motherboard I/O USB caused the power to cut. Upon inspecting the pc's internals I found that the motherboard was held in place by plastic clips and so has a small amount of room to move. All of the vital connections are firmly in place.
I was just wondering whether there is a connection to my problem or if anyone knows of a cause or solution.
    Thanks in advance.
