Other Internet/gaming/network lag?

The step lag is saying he's having issues gaming with lag.

Currently using homeplugs and says it's the same on wireless N.
When I game I've no issues but am wired.

Any suggestions on what to start looking at?

Run a long cable as a test. Wireless N is pretty crap nowadays and homeplugs can be hit and miss.

 

I'd be almost certain that it's the homeplugs or the wireless - try cabled.
