    Hi all,

How exactly is Vulkan installed? Does it come with the GPU drivers, or from programmes that use them, such as Doom?

I ask because when I install new drivers, I do a clean sweep with DDU and one of the options is to uninstall Vulkan. I'm just wondering what re-installs them!

Runtimes are usually installed by the programs that need them. Although I don't know specifically for vulcan that's usually the way 5hings work on windows

That's what I'm thinking. I wonder if I uninstall them, will Doom reinstall them automatically next time I fire it up? Only one way to find out I suppose...

I think they come with graphics driver install. I saw something before when doom implemented Vulcan.
In the test they had different runtimes from each driver for the AMD and Nvidia tests.
