    I got a kick ass tube out of an HP scsi scanner and it was 24v (AC) unknowingly put it on 16v dc and smoky arriver put the tube on another invrter nothing it really pissed me off DAMN i think i cracked the tub altough nothin apear to be broken may b i need a special higher voltage inverter

    16 volts DC shouldnt have killed the inverter, and the tube should still work anyway. Are you sure the inverter wasn't 12 volt?

    Nah the scanner was old and it had 24v writen on it and hat lots of those three pin black things big ones one started to smoke i think i might have cracked the tube becuse i tried it on my meaty one and it just sat there like nothing was even conected oh ill find heaps more
