    There was also a rather good mythbusters episode on it a number of years ago...

    Think they went all the way from a .22 upto a .50 BMG

    Major cavitation going on. :)
    I have a question though: Why did the bullet from the revolver not tumble like i was expecting it to ?
    Was it because it's a revolver, or because it's a hollow point bullet.

    lack of spin from the shorter barrel. i believe the hollowpoint would only effect the impact of the round.
