A beta for new benchmark Catzilla has just been released, so following the great bit tech tradition of Geekbench and Super Pi, let's get our benching on!
    http://www.guru3d.com/news_story/download_catzilla_benchmark_beta_version.html

Warning! The following bench contains scenes of cat orientated violence and crudstep dubstep

    Rules:
Download the bench from the link above (it's 500MB! :jawdrop:), run the bench on the preset settings of Tiger and/or Catzilla and post your results in the following format along with a screen print (640*480 MAX please) of the results screen. If the Tiger and Catzilla button are shaded out try updating your drivers, it's a bit picky!

    Preset: Tiger/Catzilla
    Res: ????x????
    Score:
    GPU: name@core/mem (e.g. Gigabyte GTX 480 SOC@820/3800)
    CPU: name@clock (e.g. i53570k@4.3)
    Cooling: air/water/dice/ln2
    Motherboard: name
    Mem: GB@Mhz (e.g. 16gb@1866)
*this isn't mine, i'm at work and would probably get shot for downloading it here.

I'll sort the results into categories based on the preset used and the res, that way we can have a good old fashioned AMD/ATI vs Intel/NVIDIA battle.

Wish they did a 1680x1050 test, somehow I doubt the 720 will push my pc much.

Edit: Oh wait, it allows me to run 1920 anyway!!

A warning to those on slow/capped broadband, the benchmark is 500.5MB.

I'm downloading it now and will edit this post once it finishes :)

If your ran it for 1080p, would it not have rendered it for that even though your display is 1680x1050?

try updating your gfx drivers. it's a bit picky apparently. If that works I'll add it to the instruction in the first post.

    Will do :)

Edit: Updating the drivers did it, but I had to pull my 7950GT out as its not compatible with the latest drivers.

When you consider that an i7 3770 and an overclocked 680 produces the same score on Tiger, I think it's bloody marvelous! :hehe:
