Any other collectors here? I've only started recently so I haven't got many. Anyone got any suggestions to add to my collection?

I got a few added to my wishlist, that i'll pick up at a later date, so it'd be great to hear about some more great ones.

I've been reading the Walking Dead series since the 2nd hardback omnibus.

Apart from that, I tend to read a lot of manga/manwha

I've been to dig back out my graphic novels since we moved house. I got into them following a friend introducing me to a copy of The Crow. So that would be my recommendation to you :)

I've been enjoying Tekkonkinkreet a lot lately. It's definitely a strange book though - the drawing is awful yet brilliant at the same time (those who've read it will know exactly what I'm talking about).
It's very movie-like, and the fighting scenes are some of the most dynamic and “living” I've ever seen in a comic. At about 600 pages it's pretty long too.
    I wholeheartedly recommend it.

    Other things to look at:
    Logicomix - also really unique
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (obligatory)
The Incal (series) - It's by Jean Giraud (Moebius)! How can you not like it?

Batman Arkham Asylum, the original graphic novel and not the game, was brilliant and opened me up to this type of comicbook.

I've not read very many but its something I keep meaning to get into.

I've just read the walking dead and watchmen so far.

Anyone know any good places to buy graphic novels to use with a nexus 7?

For the artwork alone, I can recommend some of the offerings from Zenescope (Beyond Wonderland, Escape from Wonderland, Grimm Fairy Tales). They feature some great collaborations from J Scott Campbell (lines) and Nei Ruffino (colors). Check them out on DeviantArt if you have the time. Nei has an incredible understanding of color theory - very talented considering she never had any formal training in the arts.

    (Insert obligatory Watchmen recommendation here)
