Windows Streaming/recording 1440p or 4k at 1080p

    Is there any software (or even hardware) solution to do this? I personally want the eye candy of 1440p/4k but for video recording or streaming want to use 1080p.

    I'm pretty sure Open Broadcast Software can record/stream at a different resolution to that which you are playing at.
    I think you just use Resolution Downscale in Settings>Video.

    I figured this but wasn't sure about 1440p to 1080p as usually software only seems to support nice round multiples when down sampling.......

    Could any kind soul check this for me as I'm currently restricted to mobile only whilst away.
