I'm about to format my SSD C drive and re-install W7.

Should I disconnect the other, non-operating system HDD for good measure during the re-install so that there's no chance of the photos and music etc being in any corrupted, or can I just nuke the C drive and not worry about the other drive? (RAID etc is not used on this system). I have a back up of all the important data.

    Thanks.

I always do this just to be sure nothing gets wiped by accident.
