Hey guys I need to find a low profile gpu that can output 4k via HDMI, assuming such a card exists? The display is a Panasonic with HDMI 2.0.... http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and...rt-3d-ultra-hd-4k-40-led-tv-10133366-pdt.html Can this be run at 4k @60hz with HDMI 2.0? Sorry I am a bit behind with modern displays EDIT: should have said that this isnt for any kind of gaming.
A quick google and check around and there doesn't seem to be any low profile HDMI 2.0 graphics cards around sorry
LP 750TI that supports 4k over HDMI 1.4a so it should work. but you need to use 2 HDMI port and cables.
Since you're not playing games, you could consider looking at the latest Skylake Motherboards and just not bothering with the GFX card. They might give you what you want. I've been looking at the latest offerings from Asus. This ITX mobo below says: "Supports HDMI with max. resolution 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz ". Not quite 60Hz, but there you go. https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/Z170I-PRO-GAMING/specifications/ Also, if you are in the midst of making some purchasing decisions, you might consider if HDMI 2.0 or Display Port will be the dominant connector of choice in the near future ( I don't know the answer to that, but might be worth holding out before you buy) - otherwise you might continue to struggle with what you're looking for.
