I was in some retail stores earlier today looking for a new modem router because I just upgraded my internet plan. Of course the sales staff try and urge you to spend more and claim it has greater features and what not.

When I got home I decided I would look online and I came across the TP-Link 300M 802.11n/g/b Ultimate Wireless-N Gigabit Router with 3 Detachable Antennas [TL-WR1043ND] for about $80 (Australian Dollars). But then for about another $60 I could get a Belkin N1 MiMO ADSL/Cable Router.

I've used TP-Link products in the past before and they worked fine for me, I'm just wondering if there is something I'm missing apart from the brand name effecting the pricing?

    Thanks!
