Umm, so what the hell is that site? Is it an unused Portal 2 sound bite, or something that came with the new DLC? Who is says owned by "Joe Angry"
with HL3 or HL2ep3 we are not looking to the next crysis or anything massively new, just to continue with the story would be good enough for me. HL3 will not be out for years as it got to be on the new source engine (to debut DX12?) HL2ep3 is still in development which as been confirmed a number of times. This new site i think its a massive troll (so im calling fake), the audio is taken from a very early portal build that was later removed so i gathered from simple googlings and looking on the Steam forums.
That site is a confirmed fake, guy who made it either said it on 4chan, or just did enough things to the site in response to a thread on /v/ that it was obvious it wasn't Valve. Besides, Valve have DOTA 2 and CS:GO on the way, not sure they would be going for a third game for release in the foreseeable future as well. Edit: Should have said, I mean third game this year*
I think Valve are actually still working on HL3/HL2:EP3, it's just a case that they have so much to juggle, Valve isn't actually that large, from what I know of it, and with the somewhat sporadic and random method in which they work; things get put on and taken off hold a hell of a lot. Admittedly; the end result is usually astounding games (Richoet nonwithstanding), but the waits are rather annoying. Although it does seem to affect anything related to valve, too. Hence why Black Mesa is taking so long. Working with Valve content and ideas seems to drop you into Valve Time.
yea, checked the source code. not interested in the hidden message. but i did notice; click the logo. get a silly face and gabe newel intro. doubt this is official.
