I have the older version of this and now feel slightly mugged off about this! It's not the m2 slot that bothers me, it's the fact i'm having to constantly deal with a crazy layout for where the CPU pin, among other connectors, lies on the mobo!

This mobo looks awesome! There are new Crucial M.2 2260 MX200 SSDs that could be used with this slot, sweet.

It's not a new concept - Asrock put an mSATA socket on the back of the Z77E-ITX.

    Solid performance, nice :thumb:

I'm a bit too stupid for this here though:
For those cases where I want to game and watch video's at the same time?

Or do I disconnect my fast Ethernet when I'm not gaming to save the Cat.7 from wear

Yep the former! So for example, if you're at a LAN party, you could use the WiFi to stream video and a wired Ethernet connection for gaming.

You could do the same at home with a Wireless router but as you're using the same Internet connection a lot would depend on how your router handled things.

Ist the Gigabit Ethernet fast enough to do both?

Errr, how do you assign tasks to certain networkdevices?

This board really doesn't like Corsair Link, not that I can blame it. The stock BIOS (1.50) mistakes it for a bootable device, always seems to give it priority and it was a real pain in the rectum to figure out.

It looks like they revised the WIFI module from the Z97I Gaming AC. That boards was great, but the 'screw it in yourself without mashing the pins and good luck if it works' module really let it down. Swapped it for the Gigabyte Gaming board in the end.
