Three of these 8800GS will bring in 10,000 points a day and yours for £105.

    I'd buy some more if I didn't already have nine :jawdrop: (6 x 9600GSO and 3 x 8800GS, same card new name)

Currently got a Palit one sitting around at home, Still trying to sort out the motherboard for it. Ideally a dual slot one but at the moment any 939 or 754 board would do, (with PCI-E) and I've been asking around here to see if anyone has an old one that would be suitable. Unfortunately both the 754 and 939 boards I have are AGP :(

If you look on Fleabay, there are refurbished Asus A8N Premium boards, being sold by what appears to be a business, not an individual. These boards are socket 939, dual PCI-E x16 (x8 if both used) and a low profile heatpipe for chipset (no nasty little screaming fans, as found on other versions).

I've bought two of these, and have two refurbished XFX GTX260 Black Edition cards (from the link given in OP) folding in each. 12,000 - 14,000 PPD, depending on WUs.

I have no connection with either business, only that of a satisfied customer trying to share the joy.

Are these the same as the 348MB 9600GSO cards?

Not quite. The good 9600GSO cards have a heavy overclock on them.

Please don't hate me for saying this but your thread title is very misleading for people who are just starting out in folding. Not everyone is going to have a 3 or 4 card motherboard to put those in already.

Otherwise, nice find. I have enough 8800's already though, and am starting to move towards the GTX family.
