Peripherals Strange symbols on monitor.

    Packard Bell PC Vista. At the moment no sure on the monitor. I am trying to help someone out on another forum but I have not come across this before.

    Anyone any thoughts?

    God I remember viruses that did that but that was back in win 95 era. I am guessing you have tried connection to a PC you know is working 100% right?

    I don't think that the monitor is at fault here, Glenn - looks to be the graphics output from the PC. Could be the graphics card, could be the mobo (or could just be a borked windaz installation!)

    More details will help :thumb:

    Had this happen once and nearly poohed my pants thinking it was a virus but turned out the graphics card had gone loopy.

    In my case they were coloured and animated.

    I am glad you underwear remained pristine. :D

    But I am leaning towards a GPU problem.
