I built a fairly powerful rig about 3 years ago, Asus P8P67, 16GB, MSI 570, SSD, W7 64 Ent etc. and it's behaved itself more or less, however it's started to get a little slower overall, is filled with dross from all of the work done on it etc and I've not updated the m/b firmware etc since I built it. Is it worth upgrading the m/b firmware? Is it difficult etc? I want to re-install W7 Ent 64, at the same time - any gotchas or recommendations (aside of the usual back-up everything etc!) that are worth considering? Is the upgrade process fairly bomb-proof and should it be done ahead of a W7 rebuild? Thanks...
