It's Christmas time, parenst want to buy their kids overpriced tech so they come to me, normally I tell them to go to PC world. However, this time it's my managing director, so can you guys help me get some brownie points please? It's for his teenage daughter, budget is £400, thats my criteria. Cheers
Check out Dell on Friday... According to hukd they will be having an i3, 8gb, 1tb, laptop for £199 - note this is all rumour Mill and heresay so may not actually happen. It will also only likely be available for 24 hours. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Other than what dancingbear suggested I'd go for the Lenovo Ideapad 510 @ Currys for £299 which is the one I recently bought (it was £460, then £350, then £320 which is what I paid for it, and now £300...looks like they are really trying to shift it). Great laptop by all means, it even has a backlit keyboard and an IPS 1080p screen, which are pretty nice features on such a "budget" lappy. Plenty cash left over for a swanky bag, headphones etc.
This any good? Having an SSD I know helps on speed and 6gb ram is better than the average 4gb these get Link
