    Hi all

So after having worked out my Custom PC forum details were no longer valid and had to register for this new forum .... :wallbash:

Can anyone think of a quick reason why my 384MB 8800GS (running with Core2 Duo E8600, 8GB RAM, Vista 64-bit, latest drivers) only returns 2500 PPD?

According to all the research I did it should give over 4000 PPD. Have slightly overclocked shaders and increased fan speed.

Running as system tray client btw.

    Thanks in advance.

Mine drop as low as that as well sometimes, as thaifood says you're just stuck on some large projects, probably 59xx 511 pointers, nothing to worry about. Overclocking the shaders will help those cards a little, I got the shaders on mine up quite high with the stock cooler running at 100% duty cycle.

i somtimes have hard workunits that give tiny ppd (my main folding rig has a highly overclocked 9600gt) i can get 4300ppd one project and 2300ppd the next

it is all luck of the draw
