I see a fair number of people play but, maybe it's down to the signal around here, my search is not finding any bit tech team fortress 2 servers?

Really enjoying this at the moment... Have been playing on hoodoo server which is pretty much the same players 24/7.

However, I'm irked at the buggers that just jump about near the entrance during the entire match. Same people every time, it seems they never get kicked.

    See you soon

    Really?! No answers?

In that case, can anyone recommend a decentish server that they play on with an active player base. As much as I love pyro'ing the afk twattage and subsequent MEGA KILLS, I would prefer to learn from the elite!

I'm new to PC TF2 having played vanilla orange box on the PS3 and Xbox, many moons ago...

No bit-tech one got shutdown to be replaced by BFBC2 iirc a while ago.

Servers i hang out on are nervousenergy kritzcast and Dakkaa gaming those are good for a beginner.

My main one however is hampshire heavies it's extremely well run but skill level is quite a bit higher than most pub servers most of the time.

One thing to do is blacklist or avoid Nightteam and Saigns.de as they operate on pay to win essentially.

    Team Fortress server

So I think Ive got this whole "set up a server" thing down.

It doesnt look like I have many options without going full blown "dedicated server", but switching maps, at least, seems easy enough.

Lotusclan.com servers are pretty decent, allow upto 100000 rate unlike most servers which only allow 25000 rate which is way to low and results in choke and lag.

+1 - I agree with this. I've played on their servers for years, ever reliable.

Uberium servers are pretty good as well, spending a lot of time on theirs at the moment.

I used to play on their 2Fort server until i got fed up with the amount of team stacking that kept happening, now i play on the UKCS 2Fort most nights.
