I thought you had 580's and were happy out. What made you change? Coincidentally I ordered my second one of these (F.T.W's) over the weekend. Hopefully will be with me this week

I was going to buy another GTX 580 3GB from bagman (Who bought the other from BennyboyUK) I then was looking at keeping them long term (Due to nothing but rehashes coming out this yeah), so I was looking at waterblocks.

As these cards are non ref, trying to source 3 waterblocks, was going to be a pain, and was going to cost double in shipping due to buying from multiple places.

So I weighed it up, and thought "this is going to be a waste of money investing that much into waterblocks now." So that's why I decided to get something that is future proof, and will hold it's value long term. :)

Cool TG! I so want one of those backplates for my 2GB EVGA 670 Cheesecake! The way the mobo is arranged in my Silverstone Raven RV03 the backplate would look great. Can't find any in the UK though. :wallbash:

T_G - are you aware 670 isn't the best one? You appear to have bought something that isn't the best one. Are you ok?

There is nothing in it between the GTX 680 and the GTX 670 Cheesecake. That's why ;)

But that would be false advertising! Seriously though I found the backplate didn't do anything for temps, it just looks pretty. The high flow bracket for the back did actually knock 2-3°C off the temps though :thumb:
