Anyone know why my folding on 2 x HD7970's might stall? I notice it when the ppd is very low. (Just checked and they were both 35k ppd) When I check FAH control both GPU's are sitting at 99.9% and never move. I need to do a reboot for it to sort itself out. After reboot they are usually not at 99.9%. Been happening on and off for past month now. Spec: Windows 7, 64bit Catalyst driver 13.4 FAH: 7.3.6 Cheers.
Hi. I can't help you with your problem as I am just a new boy to the team, but I was wondering what PPD you were / are getting from your HD7970's when they are working normally. It seems that AMD GPU's have suddenly become competitive in terms of folding, when for a long time Nvidia ruled the roost, and AMD were no-where. It would be interesting to compare the PPD between the HD7970 and say the GTX 670 or 760, as they can both be had for a similar price now from Scan. Pete
