Some people may remember my thread about the clouded coolant etc, I now also think the tubing has something to do with this, or possibly the kill coil, is this possible? do I need biocide and a kill coil? or is pt nuke ok alone? also the tubing i used was tygon, is there any better clear tubing? thanks, Luke

Some tubing leaches plasticisers which causes clouding quite quickly. You can get food grade Tygon which supposedly doesn't do this, I haven't tried it so can't comment. Primochill LRT Pro is normally pretty good for staying clear but there seems to have been a bad batch of this released recently which has more than the normal amounts of plasticiser in it. I've used it for quite a while in both clear and black without problem.

I've used Clearflex that clouded within a couple of weeks.
