Need to do a bit of market research, :D.

What screen resolution is your phone?

I'm only really interested in android smartphones.

    Thanks

    From the 2 i own.

Iphone 5 is sharper in text display from what I've noticed. Sg3 plays back films better though.

I'm using an openGL implementation to make a game. So it does scale to whatever size the phone is. Just trying to decide what the best sort of default size for sprites/textures etc would be.

Been learning with 320x480. My phone is 480x800, which I was going to base around, but you lot all have HUGE phones, :D

My point was that that percentage table, together with the resolution table says how much are specific resolutions used.

    50.1% of the Android phones are hdpi/normal - that means WVGA800 (480x800), WVGA854 (480x854) or 600x1024.
    25.1% has xhdpi/normal, that means 640x960.

Just by targetting these resolutions you covered 75% of the Android phone market.

    Sony Xperia S - 720 x 1280.

It's a Super-TFT based design, though, so it'll destroy batteries faster than most other phones.
