Honestly, £169.99 for a mini ITX case - cost should match the size!

Yes, very pricey. Shame, as I am looking for a mini-itx system for lanning with. Dragging a CM 840 classic about is getting tiresome.

The pricing really is quite off. My FT03 is much bigger, also made of aluminium and costed just £110. And the BitFenix Prodigy can also squeeze a watercooling setup in too.

Don't forget to take off £53 as it has a powersupply.

At the moment this still interests me because its still the best looking of the M-ITX systems. I also don't really see the appeal of tool-less entry, especially on a LAN rig, as it just reduces security.

But cable management! Why didn't they put some cable management in. Tut tut.

Nice case, but too much for a mini case, even with the PSU included.

10mm front panel? Isn't that a little overkill?

Agreed. I paid less than that for my Corsair 700D. Hell, I paid less than that for my Silverstone TJ07!

Possibly even more - some PSUs in that Wattage/Amperage are even more expensive. Doesn't really excuse the price, though. If it was in the ballpark of £100, it'd possibly be worth thinking about. North of £150? That's an instant no. :(

Because if they'd done that, it would have added another £50 to the asking price, and then no one would buy it. ;)

Nice, but a more custom PSU wiring set-up is sorely needed, I paid £140 for my Fractal Array and the PSU leads are custom fit to ease air flow.

Why is a case less important than a CPU or MoBo ?

    IMHO

P.S. Looking forward to a test of the Node 304 ;)

I'm having hard time believing you're still complaining about the necessity to wield a screwdriver when putting together a PC. I mean really, aren't you supposed to be tech enthusiast or something?

Seriously, I consider such a "feature" as a bonus. I prefer screws and thumbscrews thanks very much.
I hate plastic rails for drives. Give me four screws and the ability to adjust for fit.
I hate plastic catches along the PCI slots. They aren't secure (especially for movement) and there are often incompatibility with some cards that means the catch doesn't work.
And if they aren't made well then they rattle.

Even if you are swapping components in and out daily or weekly, it is not much more hassle to use a screwdriver.
It shouldn't come as a coincidence that of my three PCs, two are in Silverstone cases and one is in a Lian Li.

Couldn't wait for Bit Tech and built in one of these two weeks ago. It's a dream to work in (considering the size), the build is awesome and whilst it's louder than my Fractal R3 (duh!) it's bearable for watching low volume movies at night.

Also, got a BD burner for £45 which you can't do in full size.

Expensive? A little bit, sure. But great VALUE and the way forward as far as I'm concerned.

Seems way to pricey for what you get.

Is it crazy I'm really tempted by this over the much cheaper bitfenix?

I am trying to hold out for haswell before doing my HTCP but I'm really struggling haha. I keep pricing a build. Its all just sitting there in my basket waiting for me to order.
