Stems and springs - MOAR springs than the ones I am getting off you :P Plan to turn my big massive ISO red's board into a hybrid red/black mix. And want the caps to go on my iso as well, have some blank thick pbt's that will hopefully match for the caps lock and the 1.25x mods. i could just swap the springs in the reds - but I quite want to keep things looking neat on the board and swap springs and stems, might as well as gotta take everything off anyway. Adding more LEDs to the board as well.

Are you wanting the pcb?

Yeah it's lovely. 1.25x are pad printed is that right? Unlike the new originative stuff that is ds? Are the 1.25x centre stemmed as well? I have some white on black 1.25 cherry mods but they aren't centre stemmed, no idea which board they came off. I fully love those old school windows super keys though.

The old Cherry sets had pad print Windows and menu key but that is all. The off center 1.25 caps come from G81 boards. That 1192 is a less common model, kind of a shame to dismantle it. Well I guess it is the casebody that is mostly the unique part as it has a inset for logo badges.

Has anyone put uv LEDs in a backlight board - i mean not on here but in general, I'm sure someone somewhere must of but I can't find anything anywhere. If you had white caps would it not make them glow or w/e uv light does to white stuff.

i had a friend in uni who already had a blacklight above his desk, he swapped the LEDs on his board for UV ones, and then got a UV marker and did all the legends by hand, so when the lights went out the legends started glowing in an irregular eerie way. it was pretty cool but i suspect most of the luminescence came from the large blacklight rather than the LEDs.
