    Isn't that Bluetooth, not GPS-based?
As in, if you're not in Bluetooth range, somebody else using the same service has to be in order for the GPS-coordinates to come to you??

Generic username; registered more than a year ago but has never made a post until now; keywords "GPS Tracking Systems" written in initial caps; grammatical errors, like "is best for today time," common to EFL speakers from China; traffic coming from an I2P exit node.

If this isn't followed by "I have found my solution friends and it is www.completely-not-my-website-honest.example.cn I have bought my GPS Tracking Systems and am most happiest" I'll figuratively eat my hat.

At this point I don't think anyone would bet against this being a bot. Lets just leave the thread open for now to see how accurate Gareth's prediction for the reply is :)

What is an I2P exit node?

Only figuratively? Actual consumption of a hat or I'm not interested!

Speaking of shady Chinese e-commerce sites, my dad sent me a link to one, but I was very disappointed to discovered they sold parts.

    It was called BangGood :hip:

You know Tor? Well, I2P is basically that: peer-to-peer anonymous encrypted network. The exit nodes are where you traffic comes out, and a handy-dandy way of beating things like, oh, I don't know, forum country signup blocks that would prevent your real Chinese IP from registering. Our lovely thread creator's posting IP is indeed based in the UK but is a known I2P exit node, meaning the thread creator is almost certainly not based in the UK.

I know. If I had lots of money to blow on cool, useless stuff that would be on my list.

Ah, learn something new every day. Thanks, Gareth :thumb:

Aaaaand, there it is. Gareth doesn't have to eat his hat after all.

Enjoy your trip to the black hole.

Though, hopefully the mod that reads this will delete the URL and leave the thread up so we can have a laugh about it.
