    Wow! This is huge news. Valve actually have the resources, clout and talent to compete with Oculus too.

    Cannot wait for GDC now.

    There is a big problem with VR that they can't solve and this is based on my own and others (friends and visitors) most of them are gamers for over 10 years both in online fps and other games.

    Every single one of us gets confused, sick or disorientated when playing games which you as a person walk through the environment.

    Every game that you sit/fly in a moving object is a wonderful experinence. Like Race games, riding bikes, flying airplane, fighter jets etc.

    I think they should first concentrate on finalizing steamOS, or Half Life 3 for the matter. lol

    That is because none of them are built from the ground up for VR support. Instead its horribly hacked in, and on development hardware too. FPS games will adapt, or be sidelined as the most popular games to play. I believe it'll be the former.
