    OH YES!

A proper RTS - and its Dawn of War!

Big armies are back (none of this MOBA style crap), Base Building is BACK! (Praise the gods)

If only they can balance the races.

DOW 1 was great but the balance was horrific.

Never even bothered with DOW2 just seemed like a point and click adventure game.

Looks good, I liked Last Stand though so hopefully they'll keep that in too. Not impossible considering hero units still exist. Shame only 3 armies especially considering it's lacking Chaos, I suspect they'll do a DoW1 and have an expansion for everything.

I liked DoW2, but it should have been named something else as the gameplay was too different from DoW1. Both good games, but different.

Tyranids, Tau, Chaos, Necrons and Guard. Think that's my list of wants for additional armies.

Looks like DoW 2 to me.

yeah the textures look a little to bright and colourful to me, almost cartoonish. i hope for a more toned down look of the full release ( closer to the trailer would be cool )

I thought the same, but then once zoomed in, you can see the models aren't even finished, and I don't think there's any real lighting in there yet either, so not too worried.

I can't even believe this is happening. I am a hardcore DoW player, both 1 and 2 (currently at 2308 hours on DoW 2). I am so happy right now.

Yep, all over this on release.

Is it just me or does that Titan look way too small next to those Marines?

Yeah, after the trailer, which shows them to be huge, especially the eldar ones, they do look a bit short in game, but I suppose they have to otherwise the marines etc would be tiny. Got to scale things about a bit to make the gameplay work.

At first i thought they where early build shots, but they are a couple more posted on various websites.
Im not much for cartoony bright art style, but im not going to judge till iv seen at least beta gameplay.
With such a dark trailer like that, i would be crazy to think there going with this art style.

They're Knights - Much, much, smaller.

    http://www.beastsofwar.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Front-Templar-with-Scale.jpg - Tabletop Marine/Knight

https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/1d/0d/6e/1d0d6e18381dd408353b7f121162fd9b.jpg - Knight/Warhound/Reaver/Eldar .. Wraithknight? It'll probably be one of those in game.

They're about the right scale I'd say, although the trailer certainly played the "them's big" card.

The tabletop game isn't to scale for most things either... and neither were most of the units [vehicles especially] in the first 2 and a bit games... so I don't really see what the issue is...

Yeah, they claim it's 28mm, but if it's 28mm then everything is wrong one way or another. Still, the game looks about "right" for table top.

Will absolutely be getting my hands on this at release. Hopefully, the DLC program won't be too harsh.
