Local tip in the small electrical section if the facility exists in your area. Some local councils also pick up small electrical items along with used batteries if separately bagged with the normal refuse collection, that might be worth checking for your local area.
WEEE Basically take them to a tip or some councils will collect electrical stuff separately from regular rubbish collections (we can leave ours in a carrier bag beside the bin on bin days)
Cheers guys, I was aware that I could do this, unfortunately collection of certain recycling here in Edinburgh is pretty hit and miss. But I will try this as next Tuesday is, on paper anyway, small electrical collection day.
